THIS IS MY NEW AND IMPROVED KITCHEN. YOU CAN CHECK OUT THE REDO HERE
I FINALLY GOT NEW GE PROFILE APPLIANCES THAT I WAITED FOREVER FOR AND I AM SO HAPPY I CAN'T STAND IT!  THE CABINETS ARE DONE IN "YACHTSMEN" BY VALSPAR. I AM STILL WAITING TO FINISH. I HOPE TO DO WHITE SUBWAY TILE WITH DARK GROUT. AND I PLAN TO ALSO DO WHITE COUNTER TOPS. POSSIBLY GRANITE OR QUARTZ

YACHTSMAN IS A LIGHT GREY BUT DEFINITELY LOOKS BLUISH IN MY KITCHEN.

AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NEW CHALKBOARD WALL! AND I PAINTED THE DOORS THE SAME COLOR.

THE EAT IN AREA OF THE KITCHEN.

MY LIVING ROOM...

MY FAMILY ROOM DIRECTLY OPEN TO FROM THE KITCHEN. STILL NEEDS WORK YET. I REALLY WANT A RUG THAT PULLS THE ROOM TOGETHER BUT I CAN'T MAKE UP MY MIND WHAT I WANT. THE BLUE WALL IS NOT ACTUALLY THAT BRIGHT EITHER.. IT'S MORE OF A MUTED BLUE, AND THE CURTAINS ARE CHARCOAL AND WHITE.

Ok... our entrance. I am trying to figure out exactly what I want the finished project to look like...but for now look at my Banana Plant to the right of the stairs!!! That's just 1 years growth! I love it!

And here it is this Summer. It stands about 10 feet tall now and it's still growing! I think I want to paint the trim around the door. I already did it white, but I want to paint the shutters around the windows black so I'm wondering if I should paint the door frame also. The left section where the window is....The door itself is Turquoise but I may repaint that a softer grey blue..hmmmm

So of course, here is one of my favorite spots....my back yard. When we bought the house the pool was dark and filled with foam. We had to replace the liner the third year we were here. I can't imagine living down here in the south without it. Summers get so incredibly humid in July and August. And with all these grandbabies it gets a lot of use.

We have since taken down the Arbor in the back left corner. It took some wear and tear from one of the hurricanes we had. (I can't remember which one) And we couldn't get it level anyway because of the concrete. So now theres a table and big umbrella there. Haven't taken a picture. Got a lot of plans we want to do outside too. Like stamping the concrete and maybe extending it for another Arbor. We'll see. We have to win the lottery first. We probably should play it if we hope to win....
